Ryan Baumgartner is an experienced and focused trial attorney who dedicated his legal career to family law. Ryan was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. He graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies with an emphasis in Economics and his Juris Doctorate from Drake University School of Law in Des Moines, Iowa. 

Before moving to Arizona, Ryan practiced family law in Iowa for nearly a dozen years. He represented individuals with cases involving complex property divisions, business valuations, high-conflict custody issues, paternity disputes, appeals, and interstate child custody (UCCJEA) and child support (UIFSA) cases. While in Iowa, Ryan was a member of the Polk County Bar Association, Family Law Committee; Iowa Bar Association, Family & Juvenile Law Section; American Bar Association, Family Law Section; and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. 

Ryan has spent countless hours in the courtroom litigating family law issues but prides himself in the immeasurable hours of preparation, research, and discussions that begin day one of your case. He remains a determined and disciplined advocate for his client’s interests, whether through mediation, settlement negotiations, or litigation. 

Outside the office, Ryan enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their three daughters, whether it be the constant and never-ending shuffling of kids to their sporting activities, traveling internationally to fulfill each child’s “18 Countries in 18 Years” challenge, or simply enjoying a quiet family night at home.
