Desirae Santa Cruz

Desirae was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice, minoring in Public Service and Public Policy. She also holds a certificate in Domestic Violence and Evidence-based Practice from the same institution. Desirae discovered her passion for the legal field during high school, where she was actively involved in South Mountain HS Law Magnet programs such as Teen Court, Mock Trial, and Moot Court.

With previous experience as a Litigation Assistant in a civil law firm, Desirae supported attorneys on-site and across the nation, showcasing her ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. Her dedication to helping others is evident through her volunteer work as a Student Emergency Medical Dispatcher at ASU’s Police Department and internship at a Domestic Violence shelter, where she interacted directly with clients. 

Here at Cantor Law Group, Desirae works as a Family Law Administrative Assistant providing support as needed. Her role is responsible for answering incoming calls, conflict checks, and prepping documents for the Paralegals and Attorneys. Her meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and adeptness at multitasking are essential in helping the firm run effectively and efficiently. Desirae’s commitment to delivering high-quality service stems from her genuine desire to assist and support clients.

Outside of work, Desirae finds joy in caring for the animals and dogs on her family’s farm. She prioritizes spending quality time with her boyfriend, friends, and family. Some of her favorite pastimes include maintaining an active lifestyle through weight training, going on hikes, or walking her dogs on rest days. Moreover, Desirae places importance on her well-being by dedicating herself to preparing healthy meal plans for the past six years.
