Nermana earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Arizona State University, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then received her Juris Doctorate (law degree) from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Arizona State University. During her time in law school, she focused exclusively on family and children’s issues. She was named a Willard H. Pedrick Scholar in recognition of her academic excellence.

Nermana exclusively practices in the area of Family Law, focusing on contested and uncontested divorce, spousal maintenance claims, child support and custody issues, prenuptial agreements, and more. Prior to joining Cantor Law Group, she worked for a large Mesa law firm as an Associate Attorney in their Family Law Department. While in law school, Nermana interned for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office where she represented the Department of Child Safety in Juvenile Court in dependency and severance hearings. She also worked as an extern with a boutique family law firm in Scottsdale.

On a more personal note, Nermana was born and raised in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She immigrated to the United States, when she was a child. She fluently speaks, reads and writes Bosnian. When Nermana is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Teddy.
