Elizabeth “Libby” Estes has the experience, knowledge and compassion to help guide you through the process of preparing your estate plan. Libby starts the process by listening to you in order to get an understanding of your unique needs and goals. Then she identifies and presents the options to you along with her recommendations. This collaborative process ensures that your estate plan is tailored to your specific circumstances.
In addition to estate planning, Libby practices probate as well as estate and trust administration. She knows and understands how estate plans work because she implements them. Libby also offers legal services in business law and entity formation for those individuals, couples and families who have or wish to establish business interests. By providing these essential services, she will help you meet your goals today and plan for the future, whatever your unique needs may be.
Libby graduated from Arizona State University College of Law (now Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law) in 1998. Thereafter, she clerked for a judge at the Arizona Court of Appeals and went on to private practice in a mid-sized Phoenix law firm. Prior to opening her own firm, Libby was a partner at a large national law firm, where she represented a wide range of clients, from individuals to large companies, in complex litigation.
Armed with the knowledge and experience gained while working in a large law firm, Libby narrowed her focus and opened her own law firm. She tailored her practice to provide more personalized attention and quality legal services focused on helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of estate planning, probate, trust administration, guardianship/conservatorship, and business law. Recognizing that Cantor Law Group shared the same vision, Libby joined the firm to continue providing high quality legal services with personalized attention, empathy and an unwavering commitment to the best interests of her clients.
Libby spends much of her free time with family and friends. When the weather is nice, you can find her climbing up South Mountain or hiking any one of the many beautiful trails that Arizona offers. She and her husband love food, wine and travel and try to combine the three as often as possible.
